Fees
Medicare currently offers a rebate on telehealth and telephone consults, for people with an eligible Medicare card.
Consultation costs:
First consult – fee depends on time spent:
- If less than 20 minutes – $92.85 with $42.85 rebate from Medicare ($50 out of pocket)
- If 20 to 40 minutes – $132.90 with $82.90 rebate from Medicare ($50 out of pocket)
Prescription consult:
$382.90, with $82.90 rebate from Medicare ($300 out of pocket)
Follow up consults:
No out of pocket, bulk billed directly to Medicare with your consent.
Please contact us for fees if you are not eligible for Medicare.
Medication costs:
The required medication will need to be bought from a pharmacy.
The abortion medication is funded by the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, and subsidised for people with an eligible Medicare card or a concession card.
Abortion medication:
$31.60 for Medicare card holders
$7.70 for concession card holders
Additional costs for anti-nausea medication, pain relief medication and contraception should be expected.
Payment details:
When you book your card details will be held. Payment and your rebate will be processed electronically on completion of the appointment.
