Is telehealth medical abortion safe?
Although there is a risk of complications, studies have shown that medical abortion by telehealth is safe and effective.
How do I get the medication?
Your prescriptions will be sent by e-script to your phone to be purchased from a local pharmacy.
Why is an ultrasound needed?
An ultrasound is required for your safety, to ensure the pregnancy is in the right place inside your uterus, and that the gestation is less than 9 weeks.
Why can’t medical abortion be done after 9 weeks?
The medication is not registered for use for termination of pregnancy after 9 weeks.
Why are the consults so expensive?
Unfortunately medicare rebate does not cover the cost of the consult – our doctors have the expertise and experience to guide you through the abortion process, however this service does come with a significant cost.
Are there any discounts for health care card holders?
Unfortunately we cannot offer any discounts to our fees.
What happens if there are problems?

Is there a refund if there are complications or I change my mind?
No, unfortunately we cannot offer refunds after the consult has been completed.

She obtained her fellowship in 2019, and as a part of her training completed a term of advanced skills obstetrics and gynaecology, completing a diploma in women’s health (DRANZCOG).
